Continuing his creative reign at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams unveils his latest project: a collaborative collection with iconic footwear brand Timberland. This capsule draws inspiration from American Western workwear, blending Louis Vuitton’s renowned craftsmanship with Timberland’s functionality to create a stylish and practical line.

First teased at Paris Fashion Week, the collection centers around the classic Timberland boot. Reimagined in seven distinct styles, these boots become the canvas for Williams’ Fall/Winter 2024 vision. The centerpiece is the LV 6-inch boot, offered in two designs and multiple variations. Each iteration boasts premium Italian nubuck leather, an insulation system for warmth, and waterproof construction for tackling the elements. The signature work boot lug outsole completes the look.

The collaboration extends beyond the LV 6-inch. The LV Boot reinterprets the classic silhouette with a 15% taller design, offering five unique variations, all featuring the recognizable lug sole. Additionally, an ankle boot is available in both the iconic wheat color and blackgrained leather, adorned with a stylish Monogram embossment.

For true collectors, a limited edition of fifty premium LV 6-inch ankle boots will be released. This masterpiece of shoemaking is a collaborative effort between Louis Vuitton’s shoe, jewelry, and design experts. Crafted from premium waterproof Italian leather in the classic Monogram pattern, it sits atop a bespoke rendition of the work boot outsole. The luxury extends to 18K gold LV initials on the tongue, alongside Louis Vuitton eyelets, lace tips, and tag hardware.

The tongue inscription carries a special message: “THE SUN IS SHINING ON US”, a quote from Williams’ debut Louis Vuitton show in June 2023. This collector’s item arrives in a unique Monogram leather and plexiglass shoebox, echoing the runway presentation.

The Louis Vuitton x Timberland collection is available for pre-order on 18 July 2024, through LouisVuitton.com and the Louis Vuitton app. A global release will follow on 8 August 2024 at select stores.
